Trash and recycling is collected every Tuesday after 7:00 a.m.  Your trash and recycling containers may be placed curbside no earlier than 6:00 a.m. on the day of collection and must be taken in no later than 8:00 p.m. on collection day.

• Garbage must be put out THE MORNING OF COLLECTION - not the night before. Promptly retrieve cans the same day.

• Store garbage cans in a shed or enclosed chain link fence with a top. Disinfect garbage cans regularly with a chlorine bleach.

• Consider using covered bear-proof garbage cans.

• Do not feed pets outside. 

• Clean your barbecue grill of grease and consider storing it inside.

• Hang bird-feeders away from your house (not on your deck), and bring feeders in at night.

• If you have compost collection, close buckets tightly and follow the rules for pick up or take the compost to town yourself
